Designed as a sumo postcard, the piece was built to serve a dual purpose — compact enough to ship directly to high schools, yet impactful enough to be displayed as a poster in classrooms. The poster was distributed to high schools across western Michigan, extending an invitation to WMU's National Portfolio Review Day. Warm hues and minimalist shapes work together to create an inviting, approachable design — one that reflects the exhibition's spirit of openness and welcomes prospective attendees from every background.
